Hamilton gets
Daniel Sedin 7,000,000
Kitchener gets Hamilton-2nd round pick 2016 Ryan Ellis 2,500,000 Gustav Nyquist 4,750,000
Got this offer which I can't refuse. I'm losing the best player in the deal and depth at LW but I get some assets back which I can use for years to come. Ellis is also a nice replacement for Zidlicky who is clearly becoming to old.

I accept.
I didn't want to give up Nyquist but I need help on the LW. Having both Sedins should help me get some points.

LEB Vote 4 Decline 0 Pass
This trade has been vetoed. The LEB is in agreement that the value of Nyquist, Ellis, and a 2nd far exceeds the value of D. Sedin.
Sedin is still an effective player but comes with a high cap hit at the age of 35. Nyquist may put up less points than Sedin but comes with a friendly cap hit and is in his prime. Ellis a 24 y/o former 11th overall pick, has proven to be a solid contributor and comes with an excellent cap hit. Adding the 2nd overall pick puts this trade completely out of consideration.
Removing Ellis or the 2nd would put this trade into passable territory.
If you have any questions or concerns with the decision, feel free to private message a LEB member.
