Just got these in the mail!
The 83-90s Oilers and 96-02 Red Wings were the two greatest teams of modern NHL history in my opinion. Both teams were stacked with Hall of Famers winning multiple cups during their runs.
-The 2001-02 Wings roster was comprised of 9 HOF players which will likely end up being 10 once Datsyuk retires
-The Red Wings won cups in 97, 98, 02, and 08
-The 1983-84 and 1985-86 Oilers included three 50-goal scorers and four 100-point players, both league records
-The Oilers won cups in 84, 85, 87, 88, 90
Pretty excited to watch the Wings vs Avs 1997 blood bath game. This gamed totaled 148 PIMS and ended in OT with the score of 6 to 5 in the Wings favor. Probably one of my favorite games. I recommend doing a Youtube search if you haven't seen it
Anyway here is a list of games from two of the DVD collections.
