I certainly understand the concern of only being this far along in the draft. But I do feel that in a few more rounds the remaining prospects are going to be irrelevant to the current season.
Personally if we are picking every two or three hours I won't be able to make many selections Mon-Fri. I work 50-60+ hours per week and have absolutely minimal opportunities to get on the Internet during those working hours. I guess if a couple guys who have constant access to the Internet are willing to contribute by taking GM's draft pick lists for those who have similar issues as mine, then it would be possible.
If we were to do something like this, I think it would have to be passed by a large percentage of the league. Something like 51% isn't going to cut it. This is a critical change that people didn't willingly sign up for that can conflict with peoples availability tremendously, possibly having a negative impact on their team.
I have no problem making smaller changes. Changes that have a big impact on the way people drafted and their time availability needs to passed with flying colors.

With 2-4 hour assigned windows, you have plenty of time to pass your short list to someone who will have access, we're literally picking two players per day...which is stupid.

Are there any alternatives besides enforcing a very tough time schedule?
-After a certain round when the picks become less educated, could we do double selections?
-What about everyone submitting their cell number to one or two of the most active guys who can send alerts when a draft pick is up or about to be up? Even if some GM's don't feel comfortable participating just in-case one of us is a serial killer... Having 8 or 9 guys participating could speed the draft up a ton.

Hey if everyone else is fine picking two prospects a day and I'm the only person who thinks this situation is dumb then I'll shut up about it.
Set up a poll, gather votes, 2 hour slots vs 4 hour vs 6 hour or something like that and we go with what the group wants.
I'll say this though, not everyone has a complete roster of NHL starters, a bunch of whom are eligible to be drafted in the prospect draft. At the current pace, it will affect how people draft the remaining prospects which was NOT intended and shouldn't happen, all because no one wants to be hurried.
That doesn't make any sense

Ok I have started assigning time slots. You will find these time slots in "round 6" thread, "round 7" thread and so on. I have done up to Saturday afternoon, will keep assigning slots later on

Niagara is up, but missed his pick by 2 days last round. We're not waiting his full 12. Flint can pick and we move on
