I accept. I get players to replace players going out and get an infusion of picks that should greatly impact my roster in the years to come.

I have a prospect team with some very talented young players. I wasn't going to be able to keep all of my prospects with all of my picks. And despite the picks dealt, I will still have at least 1 first round pick for each of the next 3 years. Acquiring two 60-70 point wingers is going to cost.

If my Seabrook deal got shot down, hard to see this trade going through.

If my Seabrook deal got shot down, hard to see this trade going through. Don't understand why this deal would get shot down. Cizikas is waiver-wire material. Kane is solid yes, but injury prone, and hasn't scored 20 goals in 5 seasons. Pacioretty is a 40 goal scorer on a fantastic contract and Kucherov is a 70-point, 23 year old. Trocheck plays all 3 positions and is a 20-20/25-25 type player. The picks are nice but several years away, and the 2 firsts being traded are from the best teams in this league, meaning they're going to be the later picks in the first round. My current team is young, but has some of its better players toward the end of their prime. I'm going to need to compete in the next couple of seasons to maximize their value, and I can't do that with a bunch of draft picks. In Kucherov and Pacioretty, I'm acquiring 2 of the more valuable wingers in the league.

With that being said, if the league feels the deal is not good, I understand and would be willing to re-work the deal with Kingston. As a new owner, I definitely don't want to make any large mistakes; I'm just trying to get Kucherov/Pacioretty type players.

The amount if draft picks traded, plus Fabbri and Kane for the other 3 players would challenge the integrity of the league down the road. Kane and Pac could be considered comparable, and Kucherov for 2 1st, 3 2nds and Fabbri is insane. I haven't spoke up about deals before, but this one seems off. Not sure if approval board will agree.

I think Pac is worth Kane+. Whether it's plus a first, plus Fabbri I don't know, but they are not equal.

I can agree with that. The better players in the league aren't cheap. Kucherov is dominating for Tampa, he has been their best forward.
As Saginaw said, Pac is easily more valuable than Kane. The last time Kane was a comparable player was in 2011-2012 season when he for the only time in his career scored more than 19 goals. He does have value though as he does have a lot of SOG's and hits.

I understand your point, and think you make a valid concern. But Pacioretty is getting paid $4.5 million for the next few seasons, and his production alone is worth more than Kane. So I do think Kane+ for Pacioretty. But let's not also forget to consider the value of Trocheck. He plays all 3 positions, is a good face-off man, and is contributing well as a rookie. He's going to be a very good 2-way player and will be valued well in this league. Not all of the draft picks I'm trading are guarantees, and some could take many, many years to materialize in this league.
